De Delphes... in 128 BC to a gypsy camp in Avignon, the album brings together so many journeys. The spirit of resistance is the underlying common denominator, whether it be that of the Communards ("Les Temps nouveaux" by Tony Hymas), Missak Manouchian, Georges Guingouin and their companions ("La complainte du Partisan" by Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie and Anna Marly and "L'affiche rouge" by Cuarteto Cedrón), the Moravian demonstrators of 1905 ("Sonata 1.X. 1905" by Leoš Janáček), that of three women composers at a time when women composers were often at best badly regarded if not really persecuted ("Essaim de Mouches" by Marie Jaëll, "Eclogue" by Mel Bonis, "Air de Ballet Kallirhoe" by Cécile Chaminade), that of the permanence of the blues ("Winnsboro Cottonmill Blues" by Frederic Rzewski, "Si tu vois ma mère" by Sidney Bechet"), those of other forgotten faces ("Les gitans d'Avignon" by Ursus Minor) or those of the explosive formal outbreaks of the hecklers of the musical dawn of the 20th century ("La plus que lente" by Claude Debussy, "Première Gymnopédie" by Erik Satie). De Delphes is the profound testimony of a continuous and intensly human flow where music draws its language of transformation.

De Delphes… en 128 avant J.-C. jusqu’à un campements gitans en Avignon, l’album regroupe tant de voyages. L'esprit de résistance y est le sous-jacent dénominateur commun, que ce soit celui des Communards (« Les Temps nouveaux » de Tony Hymas), de Missak Manouchian, Georges Guingouin et leurs compagnes et compagnons (« La complainte du Partisan » d'Emmanuel d’Astier de la Vigerie et Anna Marly et « L'affiche rouge » du Cuarteto Cedrón), des manifestants moraviens de 1905 (« Sonata 1.X.1905 » de Leoš Janáček), celui de trois femmes compositrices en un temps où les compositrices étaient souvent, au mieux, mal considérées sinon réellement persécutées (« Essaim de Mouches » de Marie Jaëll, « Éclogue » de Mel Bonis, « Air de Ballet Kallirhoe » de Cécile Chaminade), celui de la permanence du blues (« Winnsboro Cottonmill Blues » de Frederic Rzewski, « Si tu vois ma mère » de Sidney Bechet), celles d'autres visages oubliés (« Les gitans d'Avignon » d'Ursus Minor) ou celles des explosives éclosions formelles des chahuteurs de l'aube musicale du XXe siècle (« La plus que lente » de Claude Debussy, « Première Gymnopédie » d'Erik Satie). De Delphes… est le profond témoignage d'un flux continuel et intensément humain où la musique dessine son langage de transformation.
